Hi, I’m Ryan Newton — director of Simon CNC Services Ltd and founder of Newton Caravan Services. For over 25 years I’ve rebuilt and refurbished Traub CNC machines, diagnosing hidden faults and restoring complex mechanical and electrical systems to like‑new condition. I’m still fully invested in Simon CNC, and I’ve brought that same engineering precision and hands‑on care to caravan servicing - combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for caravans.

Why Caravans?
I’ve owned and maintained my own caravan for over 15 years. What began as a personal project became a professional calling when I realised how well my CNC refurbishment experience transfers to caravan safety and reliability. Every service, inspection, and gas check is carried out with the same attention to detail I give my own van.

Trained by the NCC Academy - the UK’s leading provider of technical training for the caravan and holiday park industry.
I hold the Caravan Service Engineering Award (CSA), widely regarded as the industry’s gold standard. It means I’ve been trained and tested to the same safety and technical standards used by the Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) for gas, electrics, chassis, damp and habitation systems, and I bring that same thorough approach and paperwork to every job.
I also hold the STGW qualification - Standards of Training in Gas Work — the recognised gas training for caravan service technicians, covering LPG appliance servicing, ventilation, soundness testing, pipework, cylinders, regulators, and safe fault‑finding and commissioning of caravan gas systems.
Over 15 years of hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing my own caravan.
